About Néa Mere
A Los Angels based doula practice offering inclusive, informed support through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
Néa Mere is grounded in the belief that meaningful perinatal care extends beyond the moment of birth. Support the mother emotionally, physically, and holistically is just as essential as supporting the birth itself.
Our values center on respect, informed choice, and individual care. Every family’s experience is different, and support should reflect that. At Néa Mere, care is thoughtful, adoptable, and rooted in presence, honoring the full journey from pregnancy through the postpartum period.
The mission will always be to nurture the mother, not just birth.
About
Care rooted in information, presence, and respect
I’m a Los Angeles based doula and childbirth educator offering inclusive, support through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. My work is grounded in the belief that informed care is foundational. I support clients in navigating their options with clarity and intention, drawing from both holistic traditions and western medicine to create care that feels balanced, responsive, and personal.
With over 15 years of experience in early childhood care, I bring a long standing understanding of the family systems, infant development, and the nuances of early parenthood to my work. Becoming a doula felt like a natural extension of this path. I believe every pregnant person deserves access to thoughtful education, meaningful support, and care that prioritizes not only outcomes, but the experience during birth and well beyond it.
I completed my doula training through Mama Glow, where I gained the tools, cultural competency, and resources necessary to support birthing people within the broader context of the Black maternal health crisis. This training continues to inform my approach, reinforcing the importance of advocacy, equity, and presence in every aspect of care.
At Néa Mere, my work centers on education, collaboration, and respect. I aim to support each client in feeling informed, supported, and confident as they move through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition.
